Tea with My Mom

Lately, I can feel the air changing. My favourite season is fastly approaching and I am savouring every moment. Today is dim and windy, which is the most perfect combination for some tea time. My mom and I have had a free moment and decided to brew our favourite tea and make cinnamon and chocolate chip cookies. We sat down together for a while and talked about everything and nothing. I can't imagine anything better to pass time.

In an other news, I've watched the movie adaptation of The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, which is one of my favourite reads of this year so far. And I am happy to say that the movie didn't dissapoint. There were some changes but I didn't mind any of them, really. They were understandable, for some things from the book would be difficult to convey otherwise. The casting was absolutely amazing; everyone did extremely well at portraying the characters and I enjoyed every scene. The motion picture was beautifuly captured. Just like the book, it was emotional, clever and funny. I think it has the potential to become a beloved classic one day that you'll put on for comfort in the times of need. I can definitely foresee myself gravitating towards it often. I would one hundred percent recommend reading the book first as to getting the most out of the story, but I also think that both the book and the movie are equally beautiful. It was surely the best book to movie adaptation I've seen in many years...
