"There's a crack in everyone and everything,
but that's how the light gets in."
Moll Pecksniff is repeatedly snached out of bed in the middle of the night because of a disturbing nightmare full of haunting sounds. Moll never really felt like she belonged to her camp. Soon enough, though, she learns that she is a part of something far bigger than she could ever imagine. In the forest where she lives, there is old magic which is in stake. And it seems that she and her wild cat are the only ones who can bring it off the clutches of the shadowed minds. But sometimes the help may come from the least expected ones...
"Best thing about this life is you wake up in the morning and you're free.
You've only got one door and there's only one way to walk: outside"
I only picked this book up on a whim. I bought it back when I was working in The Notting Hill Bookshop. I had been browsing through the shelves and found this book in a wrong section. I was about to put it back where it belonged. But then I decided against it and bought The Dreamsnatcher for myself instead. One year later I finally read it. And it was amazing. This book is jam-packed with action and adventure, and even though it's not that long, so many things happen in it. The plot is very well thought out. I loved every piece of it, unfolding the mystery around the Dream Snatch. Also, the atmosphere of the story is fabulous. Super creepy and engaging. It was the best possible book to start the autumn season with. Even before I finished reading it, I went on the internet and ordered myself the second and third book in the series, for I simply have to know what is going to happen next. I adored the characters of this story and I can't wait to meet with them again...
